Digital Media Arts graduate students produce ‘The Afternoon Show’

By Julie Pawlikowski, second year graduate student in the Media Management program

Graduate students in the Television News/Studio course produced a video entitled ‘The Afternoon Show with Anthony Priore.” They planned the show, wrote the script, and assigned roles for the rest of the class. They are Digital Media Arts graduate students Anthony Priore, Daniel Priore, Judith Sole, Mona Trengganue and Media Management graduate student Adam Miylak.

“The TV News Studio class has provided everyone with a fantastic opportunity to get in front or behind the camera and understand how a news broadcast functions,” said Anthony Priore. “This show was unique though because we got to break the mold and try something a little less rigid.”

Highlights of the show include a ‘Top Ten Interesting Facts About Duquesne,” “Craigslist Deals,” and an interview with Professor Bill Lyon.

“We had a ton of fun writing and creating our ideas,” says Priore. “I would highly encourage any student who wants to get into TV to take this course.”

You, Daniel, Adam, Judith and Mona.
