By Jacques Hinkson-Compton, second year graduate student in the Digital Media program.
Duquesne University student in the media department and Graduate Assistant Kellyn Von Arx, recently created an innovative logo and marketing campaign for M&M’s candy. The concepts were created for the purpose of one of many assignments of the department’s Graphic Design Process Course. This particular assignment gave students the opportunity to create their own logos for an already established business.
As the title suggests, the course delves into the professional process/workflow associated with managing a graphic design project. During the course, students apply theories of balance, contrast, perspective, color and other graphic design concepts.
The above images are of Von Arx’s logo applications and marketing campaign for M&M’s candy. Von Arx is a second year graduate student in the Web Design and Development concentration.
